When two of the three co-creators of TAMIS (Sam Atallah, MD and Sergio W. Larach, MD) developed the technique, it was widely shared on social media and this included educational videos designed to teach and train other surgeons how to perform the technique. This YouTube video was professionally filmed by one of the TAMIS platform makers during live surgery in 2011. In 2018, it now has 2.9 M views demonstrating the enthusiasm colorectal surgeons share for this new technique. #TAMIS
